London based, Niji Magazine reviews the first installment of "The Roar Shack". Bridget Hodges writes, "if you’re a fan of modern rock music, AOR is a band that deserves to be on your radar.  ‘Expense’, a more melodic track driven by Halasan’s vocals and some impressive drumming courtesy of band member Chad Gaynor. Although the finale, ‘Expense’ adds depth to the project and with the right promotion could become a game changer for indie band. Overall, the instrumentation is intriguing, the vocals are ruggedly refined, and the four man collective known as Agency Of Record is well on their way."

Not a bad introduction to the brits, maybe we get a chance to fly over there and rock out in Radiohead land.

Behind the Agency of Record GoPro Hero3 Black Edition

Hey Agents, have you ever had a out of body experience? Have you ever wanted to be a drummer…our latest vid is from Chad’s point of view kickin out this crazy drum lead. Our new album is in duplication and almost ready to get out there.

We shot a vid for Choose to Be, off of The Roar Shack with the new GoPro Hero 3 Black edition cameras. Take a look behind the scenes of how we used these nifty cams, usually on the edge of snowboards to bring you behind the kit.

The real vid will be out closer to the show, but this the behind the scenes.

This vid was shot with the Sony V1U, let’s get that out of the way. This is about how we used the GoPro 3, some DIY shooting techniques, and how the wireless remote and the iphone app worked.

The songs are Choose to Be and Expense, both off of Agency of Record’s album The Roar Shack.

AOR in B’More

Chronicalling the journey from the garden state to the land of old bay and the ravens. A most excellent journey.

“Heave” Live @ The Collective

New and unreleased, we all like a nice sludgy, spaced out tune…this is a band favorite.

Agency hits B-more and oh, this is our website!

So we’ve played for half of the parents of the band, lol its time to get out of Jersey and play for E’s old friends and family. Already we hear there is a comfy floor crashing and after party waiting so bring your old bay as Agency takes Baltimore. Oh, might as well make this a “hooray, we finally have our own website” party.

Album Release: The Purchase of Time and Space

FINALLY!!!  It’s been 2 years of playing out and crafting these songs and it’s now out there in the world.  the album release party was April 23, 2011 on a warm evening at The Clash Bar in Clifton, NJ.  Released at The Collective, a local music scene showcasing an eclectic mix of rap, rock and r&b.  Joined by spy the Thinker, Murdakkh, The Allupons, Melo D, Alex and Tommie James, we got to rock out with old friends.  No AC made for a blood, sweat and tears, and more sweat show.  With salt burning in our eyes we happily tour it down.

“Quirck” Official Music Video

Since our last big show at Webster Hall in NYC, we realized we need to settle in and craft an album. We had been playing shows for over a year and growing as a team, but it was time to have a real effort from us out there. So we complete our first album The Purchase of Time and Space. Quirck is our first official music video, a power packed, bare bones performance video aimed at giving people a sense of our live energy.

Making the Band with Chad and Jim

Memorable moments for the guys, working on the album “The Purchase of Time and Space”. What were the best and worse parts of the recording process, challenges, and favorite song from the album….
